Carlos and Kismet have been married for over 12 years and made the move from Northern Virginia to Sussex County in late 2022, bringing their dream with them. Carlos, originally from the Dominican Republic, has been cooking since he was a young boy, learning side-by-side with his mother in the kitchen. Today, he brings those same authentic recipes and bold island flavors to every dish he creates. From our crispy empanadas (including shrimp, crab, and chicken) to fresh, made-to-order favorites like fried tilapia with tostones, every bite reflects our passion, our roots, and our commitment to serving the community with food that feels like home.
